Job summary

Sierra Pacific Orthopedics in Fresno is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support one of our orthopedic specialty practices. The role combines administrative and clinical duties to help physicians deliver quality patient care.

You will room patients, record vitals, document in EMR (NextGen), and assist with procedures. A technical medical assisting program and strong communication are required; EMR experience and proactive teamwork are highly valued.

Educational Requirements

• Completion of a technical program for Medical Assisting

• Strong computer skills, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience, preferably with Nextgen

Typical Physical Demands

Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.

Compensation

Compensation: $23-$30/hr
