Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Medical-Surgical unit in Mesa, Arizona. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and ensure high-quality outcomes on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Ideal candidates hold a valid RN license, BLS, and experience in acute care or orthopedic services, with a willingness to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in the practicing state.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.
• Experience in acute care or surgical/orthopedic units is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, plan care, and document in patient records.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team to implement the plan of care.
• Delegate tasks to PCAs/LPNs and supervise on shift.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Promote evidence-based care and participate in unit quality initiatives.
