Frederick Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Orthopedic Joint Replacement program. You will collaborate with an orthopedic surgeon to manage hip and knee conditions from evaluation through postoperative follow-up, including first-assist in the OR and non-surgical care.

Ideal candidates bring orthopedic experience, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills, with MD license active or obtainable in

Competenze

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program (NP).
• Graduation from an accredited PA program.
• Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain).
• Current DEA license and Maryland CDS license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider).
• Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation.
• Eligible for participation with all payers.

Mansioni

• Evaluate hip, knee, and musculoskeletal patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the orthopedic physician.
• Order, review, and interpret imaging and labs to inform conservative and surgical care.
• Provide nonsurgical management and coordinate referrals for rehabilitation and therapy.
• Perform first-assist duties in the operating room as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families, and ensure timely documentation in the EMR.
• Support care coordination to improve access and clinic efficiency.
