Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.
• 2+ years' administrative experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical and insurance legislation is preferred.
• Completion of relevant Medical Office Assistant/MA programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to the Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine team.
• Assist providers with patient care and coordinate patient flow.
• Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and process referrals/authorizations.
• Manage front office duties: answering calls, greeting patients, and maintaining records.
• Scan and maintain electronic medical records and prepare reports as needed.
