Job summary

Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine is seeking a Revenue Cycle Leader to direct orthopedic coding, precertification, and denial prevention across multi-site practice and ASC operations.

The ideal candidate will combine deep coding expertise with strong leadership to drive improved reimbursement and ensure compliant, efficient workflows. This role partners with surgeons, executives, and operational leaders to grow the organization's financial performance while maintaining exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years orthopedic coding and revenue cycle experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and payer rules.

Responsibilities

• Direct orthopedic coding and precertification leadership across practice and ASC operations.
• Oversee surgical and procedural authorization workflows to prevent delays and denials.
• Lead audits, staff education, and process improvements to optimize reimbursement.
• Partner with surgeons, ASC leadership, and finance to improve denial trends and KPI reporting.
• Develop and mentor high-performing revenue cycle teams.
