Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Orthopedic Center of Excellence and Emergency Department. The role includes coordinating patient care, leading nursing staff, and acting as a clinical resource while potentially providing direct patient care. Requires RN licensure in Oregon, ACLS, PALS, and 3 years of nursing experience.

Preferred BSN and leadership/education experience. Day shift, full-time, in a hospital setting with benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Required: Current RN license in Oregon; ACLS & PALS.
• Required: 3 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to coordinate quality aspects of patient care.
• Coordinate unit initiatives with unit managers.
• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department as needed and supervise staff.
• Coordinate education/re-training with nursing education and staff managers.
• Participate in performance improvement and committees as assigned.
