Job summary

Summit Orthopedics in the Twin Cities area seeks an Orthopedic Clinical Assistant (OCA) for a full-time outpatient role. You will room patients, collect medical histories, prepare for evaluation, and assist with casting, splinting, and DME.

This position offers a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule, flexibility to float to Summit locations, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k)/profit sharing, and PTO. High school diploma required; gap-year students welcome.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and planning a gap year required/desired.
• Minimum 6 months of related clinical or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient flow, room patients, and record medical histories.
• Prepare instruments and exam rooms; assist in casting, splinting, and DME fitting.
• Provide patient education and schedule follow-ups; verify insurance information.
