Job summary

OrthoCarolina Concord Orthopedic Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant to support patient care through routine procedures, testing, and education in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The role emphasizes EMR (Epic) documentation, phone triage, casting/bracing, and assisting physicians with examinations and injections, while maintaining strong communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing.
• Certification is required; CMA/RMA or EMT credentials preferred.
• National certifications accepted; state Certification required upon recertification.

Responsibilities

• Update clinical notes in the EHR (EPIC) and maintain accurate records.
• Perform daily triage of patient calls and coordinate with providers.
• Assist with casting, bracing, injections and minor procedures.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Support administrative duties such as stocking rooms and handling messages.
