Job summary

OrthoCarolina is hiring an Orthopedic/Casting Technician for our Winston-Salem and Clemmons offices. You will manage casts, splints, and DME under physician supervision, while supporting patient education and clinical operations.

Ideal candidates have two years in orthopedics, relevant certifications, and the ability to assist in sterile procedures and room prep. This role emphasizes patient care and collaboration with providers.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in orthopedics; CMA/RMA, ATC or EMT with casting/splints preferred.
• Orthopedic Tech Certification or equivalent certification is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove, and assess need for changes of orthopedic casts and immobilization devices under physician guidance.
• Perform aseptic dressing changes and assist in setting up sterile fields for procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cast room; stock supplies and assist with autoclaving sterilization.
