Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association seeks a Registered Nurse (Orthopedic Care) to provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic and/or surgical setting.

The role includes triage, assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications, and delivering pre- and post-operative education. You will collaborate with surgeons, practitioners, therapists, and staff while documenting care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients; support timely clinical decisions
• Assist with orthopedic exams, procedures, and related clinical workflows
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Deliver pre- and post-operative education to promote recovery, mobility, and function
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, advanced practitioners, therapists, and support staff
• Use advanced technology and document care accurately in the EMR
