Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ROT program or CMA/EMT program, or equivalent patient care experience.
• BLS and related certifications (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock of orthopedic equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients and families on injuries and use of casts, splints, crutches, and devices.
• Order X-Rays per treatment plan and document in EMR.
• Obtain vitals of patients.
• Assist physician with orthopedic procedures.
• Perform routine orthopedic procedures (cast/splint application, braces, walkers, etc.) and assist with reductions.
• Access results and outside images; download into EMR.
• Provide wound care and wound care education.
