Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to support TRIA White Bear Lake and HealthPartners Orthopedic clinic. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering safe, effective patient care including triage, casting, and self-care instructions.

The role involves coordinating patient services and performing athletic training duties within a specialized orthopaedic setting, with a typical 8am–5pm schedule, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Athletic Training.
• Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Must be licensed in Minnesota for Athletic Trainers.

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery of patient care including triage and casting.
• Coordinate patient services and physician extender duties.
• Instruct self-care and home programs.
• Perform athletic training duties as part of a multi-disciplinary orthopaedic/musculoskeletal clinic.

A member of a multi-disciplinary team in a specialized orthopaedic and musculoskeletal clinic, this individual is responsible for safe and effective direct delivery of patient care including triage, physician extender duties, casting, coordinating patient services, instructing self-care and home programs and athletic training duties.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Athletic Training.

• Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Must be licensed in the State of Minnesota for Athletic Trainers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree and experience as a physician extender preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years experience as an athletic trainer preferred.

• Membership of the National Athletic Training Association preferred.
