Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their assigned territory. They establish, build, and maintain customer relations through communication and in-person appointments. The role requires expert knowledge of our product portfolio and consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory by working with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships and develop sales strategies.
  • Communicate with current and new customers about product updates, changes, and educational programs.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to position the organization competitively.
  • Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions.
  • Address issues at customer accounts.
  • Support compliance and confidentiality, adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Receive coaching and training from sales management and share knowledge with peers.
  • Maintain knowledge of sales skills, product features, and industry trends.
  • Participate in sales meetings and professional events outside regular hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years in orthopedics or related field; sports experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
  • Comfortable in open operating room environments.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
  • Ability to learn technical information related to surgery and procedures.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus.
