Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic in Hatfield, MA. Open to Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, the role supports the team onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with options for 24, 32, or 40 hours per week.

The APP will independently evaluate and manage both adult and pediatric orthopedic patients, diagnose a range of injuries, order radiographs, administer injections, perform reductions, apply

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant required.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in the state.
• 3+ years of orthopedic experience preferred.
• 3+ years of acute care/urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Evaluate pediatric patients.
• Order and interpret radiographs.
• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic injections.
• Perform fracture and dislocation reductions.
• Apply splints and casts.
• Determine follow-up care and referrals for surgical management.
