Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.

The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and teamwork. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years from hire unless 15+ years of acute care RN experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification or obtained within 60 days of hire. ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Adhere to hospital, regulatory and documentation guidelines.
