Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The role involves nursing process-based patient care, collaboration with the team, and ongoing professional development on a busy unit.

This full-time, onsite position offers shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends, with 36 weekly hours and a structured path to BSN completion within four years. A relocation bonus may be available and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• ASN/ADN degree required; BSN must be obtained within four years from hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required; BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients’ best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients, families, and team.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with the health team.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
