Qualifications

• One year of health care related experience preferred.
• Medical Terminology class must be taken in first year.
• Certification in BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in; prepare room and equipment for procedures.
• Take and record vital signs; inform providers of patient status.
• Assist with examinations, use aseptic technique, and manage specimens.
• Educate patients on cast care, wound care and pre-surgical procedures.
• Assist physicians during minor procedures and dressings.
