Job summary

The role requires an Associate Degree in Orthopaedic Technology, NH licensure, and NBCOT/ASOP or ROT certification, with BLS on hire. Excellent communication and terminology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Orthopaedic Technology.
• 1 year health care related experience preferred.

• Ability to read and understand medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Applies and adjusts casts, braces, and splints.
• Educates patients on care and usage of casts.
• Trains others on proper casting techniques.
• Assists physicians during minor procedures.
• Cleans wounds and assists in reduction of fractures.
• Inspects cast saws and maintains equipment.
• Maintains inventory and submits charges for devices.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and assists with exams as needed.
