Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state certification/training as required.
• State-mandated certification, licensure, or registration as applicable.
• Specialty dental assistants may require travel between multiple offices and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to the state's Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians during examinations and treatments.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk and team members.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and equipment; follow infection control guidelines.
• Prepare radiographs and intra-oral images as directed by the clinician.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supply levels in each operatory.
• Record patient charting and health history in the digital chart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies.
