Job summary

PDS Health in Wildomar, CA seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, maintain a sterile operatory, and help ensure high-quality care is delivered efficiently.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with state certification as required, plus reliable transportation to support multi-office coverage. You will join a collaborative team and participate in daily huddles to improve outcomes.

• Ability to respond to common inquiries from patients, staff, vendors, or other members of the business community.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures; read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Demonstrates stewardship of brand and maintains professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions in accordance with the applicable state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to other team members as appropriate.
• Communicate with front and back office teams to ensure schedule runs smoothly.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per infection control guidelines.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to enable efficient dental care.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies for each operatory.
• Maintain patient charts and health history in the digital chart.
• Present treatment records and consents to clinicians prior to treatment.
• Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
