Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant for League City Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics to support clinicians through the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and create a Patient for Life (PFL). You will prepare patients, assist dentists, take radiographs, and help maintain a clean, compliant operatory.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license for travel between offices, strong communication, teamwork, and focus on infection control.

Qualifications

• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED and mandated state training for certification/licensure.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; background check required.
• Travel to multiple offices daily with reliable transportation; alternate transportation acceptable if needed.
• One-year certificate from accredited college or technical school or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide efficient, quality dental care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory per infection control guidelines.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk to ensure smooth schedules.
• Maintain supplies and manage charting as directed by the clinician.
