Overview

Pay: $19 - $25/hour

Werner Orthodontics, an affiliate of Chord Specialty Dental Partners, is seeking a high-energy, personable Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to serve our patients!

At Werner, we combine clinical excellence with a fun, supportive atmosphere to provide an exceptional orthodontic experience for children and families. As a Treatment Coordinator, you'll guide patients and families through their orthodontic journey—from consultation to final appointment.

This role is ideal for someone friendly, organized, and passionate about patient education and service. You will work closely with doctors to develop treatment plans, explain insurance and financing options, and ensure patients feel informed, confident, and supported.

Location: This position involves travel between our Greenfield and Indianapolis (East Side) offices.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for patients, especially children and their families
• Conduct consultations reviewing patient history, treatment goals, and concerns
• Collaborate with doctors on developing and presenting treatment plans
• Explain financial responsibilities, insurance benefits, and payment options clearly
• Handle Medicaid approvals/denials and private pay arrangements
• Schedule treatments, ensuring proper co-pay documentation and payments
• Provide ongoing communication and support throughout treatment
• Assist the clinical team as needed (sterilization, seating patients, record-keeping)
• Manage new patient intakes, consultations, and treatment start recalls
• Maintain current certifications/licensures and stay informed on orthodontic practices
• Build trust with patients, helping them prioritize their treatment needs
• Support general office operations and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Understanding of orthodontic workflows and patient care
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with orthodontic practice software like Dolphin or OrthoTrac is a plus
• Familiarity with dental/medical insurance plans is a plus
• Positive attitude and dedication to outstanding patient service
