Overview

Pay: $19 - $25/hour

Werner Orthodontics, an affiliate of Chord Specialty Dental Partners, is seeking a high-energy, personable team member to serve our patients as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator.

At Werner, we combine clinical excellence with a fun, supportive atmosphere to deliver an exceptional orthodontic experience for every child and family. As a Treatment Coordinator, you'll guide patients and families through their orthodontic journey—from the first consultation to the final appointment.

This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, and passionate about patient education and service. You'll collaborate with doctors to create treatment plans, explain insurance and financing options, and ensure patients feel informed, confident, and supported throughout their care.

Location: This position requires travel between two offices: Greenfield and Indianapolis (East Side).

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, positive experience for patients—especially children and their families.
• Conduct consultations to review patient history, treatment goals, and concerns.
• Collaborate with doctors to develop and present treatment plans.
• Explain financial responsibilities, insurance benefits, and payment options clearly.
• Communicate Medicaid approvals/denials and manage private pay/self-pay arrangements.
• Schedule treatments and ensure proper co-pay documentation and payment agreements.
• Provide ongoing communication and support to patients throughout treatment.
• Assist the clinical team as needed (sterilization, seating patients, records, etc.).
• Manage new patient, consultation, and treatment start recalls.
• Maintain current certifications and stay informed on orthodontic best practices.
• Build trust with patients, helping them prioritize their treatment needs.
• Support general office operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of orthodontic treatment workflows and patient care.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with orthodontic practice software like Dolphin or OrthoTrac is a plus.
• Familiarity with dental/medical insurance plans is a plus.
• A positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient service.
