Join our team! Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator

Are you a people-person who loves variety, patient care, and creativity? Dr. Steve and the team at Degenhardt Orthodontics are looking for a proactive, motivated Treatment Coordinator to help with patient care, front desk support, and social media. If you’re friendly, organized, and want great work-life balance (we’re open just 3–4 days a week), we’d love to meet you!

As our Treatment Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for new patients and will guide them from first appointment through treatment acceptance. You'll also help our front desk team keep the schedule running smoothly and keep our social media presence fun and engaging.

Responsibilities include:

Patient Experience & Treatment Coordination

  • Welcome the patient and introduce them to our office
  • Prepare exam room and patient records
  • Assist the doctor during new patient exams
  • Review treatment plans and financial options with patients
  • Follow up with patients who are undecided or in observation
  • Maintain recall system and patient correspondence

Scheduling & Front Desk Support

  • Welcome patients and manage check-in
  • Schedule appointments and handle phone calls
  • Take payments and manage patient records
  • Help fill broken or cancelled appointments
  • Support the clinic with sterilization and patient flow when needed

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Capture and share engaging office content for Instagram and Facebook
  • Collaborate with our marketing agency on promotions and campaigns
  • Respond to messages and comments with professionalism and warmth
  • Contribute creative ideas to showcase our awesome team culture

Office Hours

  • Mondays: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesdays: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
  • One to two Wednesdays per month: 11:45 A M – 4 :30 PM
  • Every other Thursday: 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Optional Administrative Day: 3 – 5 hours per week (Wednesday or Friday)

What We’re Looking For

  • Energetic and positive, with a heart for helping people

Previous dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person who brings the right attitude!

Compensation is aligned with experience and skills. In addition to hourly rate, we run achievable bonus systems based on practice productivity!
