Job summary

Ideal Dental in Addison, TX is seeking an Orthodontic Manager to lead the Specialty Team and ensure exceptional patient experiences. You will collaborate with the Specialty Regional Manager to align with our mission and drive growth while maintaining high standards of care.

This role focuses on managing patient flow, insurance verification, and treatment planning, with a emphasis on staff leadership and continuous learning to support top-quality orthodontic services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Orthodontics experience.
• Minimum of 1 year dental management experience preferred.
• Experience with treatment plans required.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• Digital practice software experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude.
• Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to patients and staff.
• Work to maintain full schedules and office schedule flow.
• Collect balances and verify insurance when needed.
• Present accurate patient treatment plans and determine insurance coverage and patient responsibility; assist with pre-authorizations and finance options.
• Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed.
• Coordinate patient check-in and check-out.
• Perform all duties relating to supporting the office.
• Oversee schedule of staff/doctors/patients.
• Motivate the Endodontic Team to meet revenue goals.
• Manage Endodontic front and back-office staff.
• Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development of Endodontic Team.
• Complete reports as needed in an accurate and timely manner.
• All other duties assigned
