The JOY FM is seeking a friendly, professional orthodontic dental assistant in Augusta. You will support the orthodontist chairside, prepare patients, and help manage radiographs and records in a fast-paced pediatric-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include sterilization, charting, operatory turnover, and assisting with front-d desk tasks to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow.

Formación

• Dental assisting experience required, orthodontic experience preferred.
• Georgia dental radiology certification or eligible to obtain immediately.
• CPR/BLS certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable and punctual—schedule depends on it.
• Organized and disciplined, able to follow through without reminders.
• Warm and professional with patients and colleagues.
• Committed to cleanliness and infection control standards in healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures.
• Seat and prepare patients so treatment starts on time.
• Take radiographs, photos, and records as permitted by Georgia law.
• Sterilize and set up instruments and materials.
• Chart accurately and in real time.
• Turn over and maintain your operatory and assigned areas.
• Support the front desk with check-in, check-out, and scheduling.
