Job summary

Orthodontic / Dental Assistant role in Augusta, GA, three days a week (Mon–Wed) with PT hours. Join a growing specialist orthodontic practice focused on children and teens, in a friendly, professional environment with high standards. You will assist chairside during procedures, prepare patients, take radiographs, and maintain cleanliness and infection control.

Hours are Monday and Tuesday 8:00–5:45, Wednesday 8:00–5:00 (4:00). Benefits discussed at interview. Start date early September.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience, orthodontic experience preferred.
• Georgia dental radiology certification, or eligible to obtain immediately.
• CPR/BLS certification, or willing to obtain.
• Reliable and punctual — the schedule depends on it.
• Organized and disciplined, able to follow through without being chased.
• Warm and professional with patients and colleagues.
• Committed to the cleanliness and infection control standards a healthcare setting requires.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures.
• Seat and prepare patients so treatment starts on time.
• Take radiographs, photos, and records as permitted by Georgia law.
• Sterilize and set up instruments and materials.
• Chart accurately and in real time.
• Turn over and maintain your operatory and assigned areas.

Orthodontic / Dental Assistant — Monday to Wednesday Augusta, GA. It also means we need people who take ownership — of their operatory, their patients, and their part of the day.

What you'll do
