Smile Doctors in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing practice. You will deliver positive clinical experiences by assisting in placing/removing appliances, taking full records, and supporting the orthodontist to maintain schedule and patient flow.

The role requires 1 year of orthodontic experience (or 6 months in our Clinician role), along with certification requirements as dictated by state boards.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of orthodontic experience or six months as an Orthodontic Clinician.
• Dental Assistant certification required by state dental board.
• Radiography certification if required by state dental board.
• CPR certification if required by state dental board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under supervision.
• Take full records and transcribe doctor notes under supervision.
• Maintain patient flow and schedules with efficient chair-side support.
• Administer the remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/ messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per protocol.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
