Job summary

Smile-Doctors Orthodontic Boutique in Trumbull, CT seeks an Orthodontic Clinician to deliver a positive clinical experience under close supervision. You will assist with appliance placement/removal, review charts, and participate in remote monitoring to triage patient needs.

You will educate patients on care, maintain infection control, and support a collaborative team focused on patient well-being and compliance with state dental laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision.
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
