Job summary

Smile Doctors is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing team in Gainesville, GA. You will deliver positive clinical experiences while complying with policies and state dental laws under the Orthodontist’s supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with appliances, taking records, triaging patient scans, and educating patients on remote monitoring. This role emphasizes infection control and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state.
• Radiography certification if required by state.
• CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Monitor patient flow and maintain schedule adherence.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard: review triage scans and respond to messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
