Job summary

Lakeshore Orthodontics, part of the Smile Doctors family, is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join a growing team in Allendale Charter Township, MI. You will assist with appliances under orthodontist supervision, review charts, and manage data and communications with patients.

You will also review the remote monitoring dashboard, triage scans and messages, educate patients on care, and maintain strict infection-control practices in a care-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard, triage patient scans, and respond to messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols.
