Job summary

Empire Dental Specialty Group is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our Beavercreek and West Chester locations. You will travel between offices as needed, assist the orthodontist, take X-rays, impressions, and help educate patients to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements include current radiology license and a passion for orthodontics, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, supportive team environment. Dentrix Ascend and Cloud9 experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in orthodontic assisting is required.
• Comfort working with patients of all ages.
• Reliable, positive team player who takes pride in work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with a variety of procedures.
• Take and process X-rays, photos, impressions, and other records.
• Educate patients on oral health and orthodontic treatment.
• Track and document patient progress and adjust retainers/aligners.
