Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a Traveling Orthodontics Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team across Cascade and Douglasville offices. The role requires 3-5 years of dental assisting and 2-3 years in orthodontics, with travel between offices.

You will support dentists, prepare treatment rooms, educate patients on oral hygiene, and maintain patient records in a fast-paced practice. CPR/EFDA and X-ray exposure training are required by Georgia regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of previous dental assisting experience.
• 2–3 years of Orthodontics experience.
• MUST TRAVEL.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
