Job summary

Empire Dental Specialty Group is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our Beavercreek and West Chester locations. You will travel between offices as needed, assist the orthodontist, take X-rays, impressions, and help educate patients to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements include current radiology license and a passion for orthodontics, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, supportive team environment. Dentrix Ascend and Cloud9 experience are a plus.

• Experience in orthodontic assisting is required.
• Comfort working with patients of all ages.
• Reliable, positive team player who takes pride in work.

Our established, orthodontic practice is looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who is passionate about orthodontics, patient care, and being part of a fun, supportive team.

We are currently hiring for our Beavercreek and West Chester locations . Team members will have a primary location, but must be willing to travel to our other office when needed.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, with Fridays only until 2:00 PM
Required: Current radiology license

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Orthodontist with a variety of orthodontic procedures
• Provide exceptional patient care and create a positive patient experience
• Take and process X-rays, photos, impressions, and other diagnostic records
• Educate patients on oral health and orthodontic treatment
• Track and document patient progress
• Adjust retainers and clear aligners, including Invisalign
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
• Help ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout treatment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Orthodontist

Dentrix Ascend and/or Cloud9 experience is a plus, but not required.
