Job summary

Reynolds Orthodontics in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support our doctor team with chairside care, patient education, and precise record keeping.

You will take X-rays and photos, fabricate retainers, maintain charts, keep rooms stocked and sterile, and participate in ongoing coaching to sharpen skills. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years relative orthodontic assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices.
• Assist chairside with placing and removing orthodontic appliances.
• Take X-Rays, pictures, and fabricate retainers.
• Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe doctor notes accurately.
• Keep patient rooms stocked and organized, as well as clean and sterilized equipment.
