Smile Doctors-Oakland? No, Smile Doctors is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant for our Rochester, MI location. Join a growing team and support orthodontic care under the supervision of an Orthodontist.

The role involves assisting with appliances, chart review, lab work, patient education, and ensuring strict infection-control protocols. Prior dental/orthodontic experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification preferred.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
