Smile Doctors in Novi, MI is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing clinical team. You will assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under supervision, review charts, and support remote monitoring of patients.

You will educate patients, prepare operatory, maintain sterilization, and adhere to infection-control policies. Prerequisites include a high school diploma and relevant certifications; state boards may require additional credentials.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by your state.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification as required by state Dental Board.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responding to direct patient messages, and triage notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols.
