Job summary

Southern Orthodontic Partners is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to support chairside procedures, patient education, and fast-paced orthodontic care across our practices. This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and a collaborative environment.

You will take X-rays, assist with braces adjustments, maintain room readiness, and help educate patients on care. 1–2 years of experience preferred; RDA or CDA certification preferred; compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures.
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed).
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed.

We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed)
