Alizadeh & Schreiner Orthodontics in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant for a full-time role. You will support orthodontists chairside, educate patients, and help maintain efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced practice.

The position involves taking X-rays, photos, maintaining rooms, and coordinating with front office staff to ensure a smooth patient experience. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of dental/orthodontic assisting experience; RDA or CDA

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant (preferred).
• RDA or CDA certification (preferred).
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures.
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed).
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed.

Skills

1–2 years experience as Dental/Orthod.

RDA or CDA certification

We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

What You’ll Do
