Responsibilities

• Provide instructions to patients and parents on appliances, retainers and at-home care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean treatment areas.
• Document treatment and patient information accurately.
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the day.
• Create a friendly experience for patients and families.
• Assist both clinical and admin team as needed.

Location: Montgomery, AL
Schedule: Full-Time | 35–40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team in Montgomery, AL! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands‑on orthodontic assisting experience.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
• Prepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures
• Assist with bonding, debonding, wire changes, adjustments, and other orthodontic procedures
• Provide patients and parents with instructions on appliances, retainers, elastics, and at‑home care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment areas
• Accurately document treatment and patient information
• Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Provide a friendly, positive experience for our patients and families
• Support the clinical and Admin team wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required
• Dental assisting experience in a busy clinical environment
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, instruments, and infection‑control protocols
• Strong communication and patient‑service skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Current certifications required by the State of Alabama, as applicable

• Full-time position
