Qualifications

• Orthodontic assisting experience required.
• Dental assisting in a busy clinical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments and infection-control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures.
• Prepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist with bonding, debonding and wire changes.
• Provide instructions to patients and parents on appliances, retainers and at-home care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean treatment areas.
• Document treatment and patient information accurately.
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the day.
• Create a friendly experience for patients and families.
• Assist both clinical and admin team as needed.
