Job summary

Southern Orthodontic Partners is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. This full-time role focuses on chairside assisting, patient education, and thriving in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience as a Dental/Orthodontic Assistant and may hold RDA or CDA certification. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork, with strong opportunities to grow professionally.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures.
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed).
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed.

We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures
