Job summary

Vanguard Orthodontics in Fulton, MD is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician III to join our growing team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience while following policies and state dental laws under the supervision of an Orthodontist.

The role involves placing and removing appliances, bonding brackets, monitoring patient flow, managing remote monitoring dashboard, educating patients, and maintaining infection control. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience as Orthodontic Clinician II.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state.
• Radiography certification as required by state.
• CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances and take full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under limited supervision.
• Final checks on patients and manage patient flow.
• Manage the remote monitoring dashboard including triage of scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize, clean and prepare equipment and operatory per protocols.
• Assist in local store marketing and community events.
