Job summary

Hurley and Volk Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our growing Illinois team. You will assist with placing/removing appliances, review patient data, and conduct lab procedures under the Orthodontist's supervision.

You will monitor remote patient data, educate patients on care, and uphold infection-control standards. Dental background with state-specific credentials is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistant certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification may be required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Maintain infection-control practices and sterilize equipment.
• Adhere to all policies and state dental regulations.
