Job summary

Orthodontic Associates seeks a part-time Orthodontic Clinician to support clinical operations and ensure a high-quality patient experience. You will assist with appliances, records, and lab work under the Orthodontist’s direction, while maintaining infection-control standards and smooth patient flow.

You’ll review charts, educate patients on care and remote monitoring, and help with local marketing and community events. Prior orthodontic experience and state credentials may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician/Dental Assistant per state requirements.
• CPR certification and radiography credentials may be required by state boards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision.
• Review patient charts, transcribe doctor notes, and manage patient flows.
• Perform laboratory steps and assist with remote monitoring dashboard and triage of patient scans.
