Job summary

Edney Orthodontics in Hendersonville, NC seeks an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience while following policy and state laws under the supervision of an orthodontist.

Responsibilities include placing/removing appliances, taking records, bonding brackets, handling sterile procedures, and managing the remote monitoring dashboard. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II.
• Radiography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances and take full records under supervision.
• Review patient charts, logs appropriate data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under limited supervision.
• Manage the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans and triages notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Assist in local store marketing and community events.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
