Edney Orthodontics in Hendersonville, NC is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. You will help deliver a positive clinical experience, assist with bonding, brackets placement, and patient flow, while following state dental laws and office policies under the Orthodontist’s supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Radiography certification required.
• 1 year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II is preferred.
• Ability to follow infection-control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances and take full records under supervision.
• Bonding, placing, and precise positioning of brackets.
• Manage patient flow and document clinical notes.
• Prepare the operatory and sterilize equipment according to protocols.
• Assist in events and community outreach initiatives.
