TDR Orthodontics, part of the Smile Doctors family, is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support clinicians and improve patient experiences in our Rochester, MI practice.

The role involves assisting with appliances, chart review, patient education, and strict infection control in a fast-paced environment. We offer a supportive team and opportunities to grow your orthodontic skills within a national network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state board.
• Radiography certification preferred.
• Ability to handle instruments and small tools with precision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing/removing orthodontic appliances under supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe notes.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare operatory per protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and procedures.
