Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone is seeking an amazing Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with Ortho experience for a pediatric dental practice. Part-time position offering $25.00-$28.00 per hour with bonuses and benefits in a unique, child-friendly environment.

Join a team dedicated to integrity, excellent customer service, accountability, and teamwork while providing preventive care and orthodontic support to children and families.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• OA/RDA license issued by the Dental Board.
• upbeat personality required for fast-paced pediatric setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend and dental terminology.
• Familiar with instruments, materials and medications used in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor).
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to develop preventive dental activities.

Job Duties

• Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.)
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Work in conjunction with Staff Dentists/Dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community
