Job summary

Children Dental Funzone Riverside, CA is seeking an amazing Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with ortho experience to join our pediatric dental practice.

Part-time schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and two Saturdays per month, with pay between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• OA/RDA license by Dental Board.
• Must love working with children.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.).
• Pour models and conduct lab procedures.
• Chart exam findings in patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly operatory and lab.
• Collaborate with dentists and team on preventive activities.

Job Duties

• Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.)
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Work in conjunction with Staff Dentists/Dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community
